Hope the summer is going as well. Quite the party here. Changes Corrected logic in the algorithm. Edited a provider or two, Fox news had to go. Realigned the about page, built documentation. Created the ability to query using PHP XSL XML…It’s way cool. Random quotes built with PHP Register Function and XSL no DOM.
Starting to learn Javascript, first project is a resolution and metric function. So in real world terms we can adjust type size based on your monitor resolution. We are geeked (pocket protector and all) that the page you are reading is now powered by XSL and transformed with the help of PHP. Media Temple made this an effortless task.
Over one thousand hours have been logged on the current build. A new build is expected to be launched in about a week.
We have put together a set of performance indicators. This project is newborn. You can view a static sample here.
The new slogan above comes to us from Bianca. As always understated and to the point. Thank you.
Enjoy the read, talk to you soon.
The internal XSL was reviewed. The result is less code and improvements in the news stream and quicker page loads.
Added the ability to submit any article to digg.com
Using XSL native ability made this effortless.
Smashing Magazine embeds a digg address to each item in the description of their news file. We created an interface using XSL to build the link to digg. Four lines of code.
The PHP coded style switcher is conflicting with encoding. You see ? instead of the proper chatacter or symbol as a result of using PHP. It will be removed this week and native XSL will be used for all content delivery.
We added a featured content area and added a change log that came by way of tumblr.com. As always, enjoy the read.
This is the change log/bookmark dump for dinfilter.com. I was going to develop a simple XML application but tumblr looked like so much fun and easy I could not resist. The address to read the entire change log is dinfilter.tumblr.com.
